The Passport Control and Immigration department is located within Terminal 3, Dubai International Airport. After the flight, you will be directed to the immigration area where your documents will be checked.
You will need to follow the signs upon arrival, with words like “Immigration” or “Passport Control”. You will present the passport and required visas for inspection. There are also smart gates at Terminal 3, DXB airport, which you can use through biometrics (if you are eligible) and process the entry quicker.
The Smart Gates are not available for people with disabilities, guests with large strollers, families with children, or people shorter than 1.2 meters.
Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) are not required to submit visas, sponsorship or permits when visiting Dubai. All they need to do is show their ID or the GCC passport.
